Our New Name
There are always some changes when we come back from the Summer holidays, but this year you might notice some bigger differences in our school. After months of voting, desiging and committee meetings, Eko Pathways has become Horizon Academy!
We've got a brand new logo to go with our new name, but it wouldn't have been possible without the work of our creative and imaginative students.
Students and staff suggested their ideas for a new name, and together the school voted for 'Horizon Academy'. The name was inspired by the fact that the horizon is the same for everyone, no matter what your journey is.

Here's just a few of the logo designs our students came up with.
Once the name had been decided, every class was tasked with designing a horizon-inspired logo. They had to think about what colours, shapes and ideas would represent the school, and how it would look on the new uniforms. There were so many different and inventive designs, but together they inspired the new logo.
